Alif International School Marks 15 Years of Excellence with Grand ‘Crystalia’ Celebration

Alif International School, one of Riyadh’s premier CBSE schools, celebrated a remarkable milestone with the grand commemoration of its 15th anniversary, themed ’15 Illuminating Years’. The event, titled ‘Crystalia’, was inaugurated by Mogobo David Magabe, the South African Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, in the esteemed presence of Ali Abdurahman, Chairman of Alif Group of Schools; Luqman Ahamed, CEO of Alif Group of Schools; and Abdul Nazer Haji, Director of Alif Group of Schools. The ceremony served as the culmination of 15 diverse programs organized by the school in honor of its 15th anniversary.

The celebration featured three key highlights: the Alifianz Talks Grand Finale, the ‘Goodbye Kindergarten’ graduation ceremony, and vibrant cultural performances by students across various grades. Yassir Alakeeli, Vice President of Education at Riyadh Toastmasters Club, inaugurated the grand finale of Alifianz Talks Season 2. The event also saw the presence of School Principal Mohammed Musthafa and Mohammed Ahmed, Director of Alif Global School.

Haroon Mohydeen, Sheza Basheer, Muhammed Lahin, Muhammad Bin Muddassar, and Fathima Mazwa emerged as the champions of Alifianz Talks Season 2, representing categories 1 to 5, respectively.

The ‘Goodbye Kindergarten’ segment, inaugurated by Aasima Saleem, Principal of Yara International School, Riyadh, celebrated the graduation of 184 kindergarten students from diverse nationalities. The young graduates were honored amid a cheering crowd, marking a heartwarming moment in the event.

The 15th-anniversary celebrations were part of a series of initiatives by the school, including educational scholarships, the Alif Edu Award for outstanding teachers, book fairs, and literary talks.

The cultural extravaganza featured a variety of stage performances, including Welcome Dance, Qawali, Dance Around the World, Skit, Mashup Song, Oppana, Mime Show, Acrobatics and Aerobics, Kolakkali, Vattappattu, and Butterfly LED Dance. Each performance left a lasting impression on the audience, showcasing the talent and creativity of the students.

In recognition of their dedication, all staff members were presented with tokens of appreciation, making the event a memorable milestone in the school’s history.

The ceremony was attended by Muhammed Al Qahtani, Manager of the Boys Section; Muneera Al Sahil, Manager of the Girls Section; Fathima Khairunnissa, Headmistress; Mahroof T; and Mushthaq Ahmed Ali VP. ‘Crystalia’ General Coordinator Ali Bukhari and General Convener Noushad Nalakath stood in the lead role to make the event memorable and remarkable.
