Riyadh: In an exhilarating final match between Alif International School Riyadh and MMEIS the former became the champions in the Under 14 Football tournament conducted by CBSE schools in the Central Zone of KSA. In the match which was full of excitement and curiosity, none of the teams scored any goal which required a tiebreaker. In the shootout, Team Alif defeated their opponents for one goal.
Ten schools in the zone participated in the tournament which was hosted by IIS Riyadh.
The trophies and medals were distributed by Mrs. Shabana Parveen, Principal, of Modern Middle East International School, Riyadh and KSA Chapter Convener, Mrs. Meera Rahman, Principal, of International Indian School, Riyadh, Mr. Luqman Pazhur, the Executive Director, of Alif Group of Schools, and Mr. Abdul Majeed Nalakath, Principal, Alif International School.
